total yodel from the voice of yahoo.com
country harmonies

Wylie Gustafson and the Wild West bring us the rich tradition of western music. The yodeling voice of Yahoo.com, Wylie is a fireball on stage, swinging his lanky limbs and stomping his boots, bobbing to Ray Doyle' s swingin' guitar and the smooth pedal steel sounds of Duane Becker. Raised on a cattle ranch near Conrad, Montana, Wylie' s dedication to the classic country of Hank Williams, Jimmie Rogers, and Slim Whitman are in full evidence as he belts out mournful ballads, honky-tonk stompers, and classic yodels brimming with the romance of the cowboy way. Wylie's latest recording is Total Yodel! (Rounder). Butch and Bob Waller, inspired by the Louvin Brothers and other duets of bluegrass and country music's past, zero in on the close vocal harmony sound that is the gift of siblings. Butch, leader of High Country, California' s longest running bluegrass band, is a leading practitioner of straight-ahead, Bill Monroe-style mandolin playing. Bob, a rock solid bluegrass guitarist, plays with the Circle-R Boys.
