Join three youthful roots bands— Swoon, Foggy Gulch, Hop Head—for an evening of amazing music!
Swoon's musically diverse members combine backgrounds ranging from classical to hard rock. Their songwriting includes pop sensibilities with a seductive blend of chamber rock, funk, world, jazz, and a hint of R&B. The group features Stephanie Harwood (vocals), Julian Fill (guitar), Kater Murch (cello and mandolin), Todd Snyderman (drums), Joey Nunez (guitar), and Scott Dunbar (bass).
Foggy Gulch sets out to explore the intersections of musical traditions and styles, tunes from eras when country sired bluegrass, or bluegrass begat rockabilly, or folk morphed into rock. Foggy Gulch features Eric Hughes (guitar), Jenny Robinson (vocals), Steve Lowery (banjo), John Milton (double bass), Becky Bart (fiddle and vocals), and Kim Carey (vocals).
Eclectic acoustic trio Hop Head collect their songs from many sources, their main criterion being that they play music they love. Pop, rock, jazz, blues, and folk all have a place in the repertoire of Kim Richards (vocals, guitar, bass, percussion), James Tepperman (mandolin, guitar, woodwinds, vocals), and Peter Tracy (guitar, dobro, mandolin, harmonica, vocals), with Kate Wolf ballads coexisting peacefully alongside Talking Heads tunes.
