Wordfly Outage Statement

Important update about Freight & Salvage’s third-party email provider:

On July 14, 2022, Wordfly, the third-party email service provider that Freight & Salvage uses to send emails and newsletters, experienced a network outage as a result of a cyber security incident..

Wordfly confirmed that names and email addresses of those subscribed to Freight & Salvage email communications may have been impacted. Please note that names and email addresses are the only personal information that Freight & Salvage uses in Wordfly. No customer financial or other sensitive personal information is included in the incident.  We’re alerting you out of an abundance of transparency and caution and because your privacy is important to us..

In an effort to keep our communications with our valued customers uninterrupted, we have switched email providers to Mailchimp as a temporary solution. Mailchimp has provided information about their data security and privacy policy here. Because financial information is not shared with any email platforms, you do not need to change any passwords but you may like to as part of your ongoing online security. 

Wordfly is investigating this incident and their teams are working with experts to remediate the situation. We apologize for the inconvenience and we will continue to keep you updated.
